Emma is so easy to put to bed, unlike her little brother. She has her routine: pj's, potty, brush teeth, 2 books, then hugs and kisses. She likes her light left on so she can look at another book. She is usually asleep in 10-15 minutes. Tonight I went in her room about an hour later to turn off the light. She looked asleep to me (I even watched her for a minute) :
E: Mama, I am not asleep, turn the light back on.
M: Sorry sweetie, you looked like you were sleeping.
E: No mama, I was just doing a long blink!
So, light back on. I will check on her again later.
