Field Trip Fun
On Thursday I went with Emma's class on a field trip to Magnolia Plantation and Gardens . It was a beautiful, sunny day and we had a great time! The kids loved the petting zoo, there were so many different animals to touch and see up close. We went on a walk through the Audubon Swamp garden and saw a few alligators and tons of turtles out in the sun. After a picnic lunch, the kids went through a maze made out of camellia, holly and boxwood bushes. They had so much fun trying to get to the middle first! After the maze we walked to a playground area and climbed trees and dug for treasures in a sand pit. We did lots of walking and the kids were clearly exhausted from all the fun and activity.

p.s. Thank you to Aunt Lisa for staying with Timothy so I could enjoy this special time with my girl!
