Time For Tea

BB had a big surprise for Emma on her birthday. We drove to Beaufort for the week-end and had lots of super fun things to do. BB arranged for the girls to have an afternoon tea at A Lil Peace of Heaven Tea House. It was so much fun and Emma was thrilled. Finally all those pretend tea parties became a reality! First task was to choose a frilly hat to wear. This was a little difficult only because there were probably over 100 to choose from! We each picked out the tea we wanted and it was presented in our own teapot on a candle-lit burner. We each chose a different flavor and all were delicious. We had soup, finger sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream and some delicious desserts. Best of all, we were able to sit back and watch Emma take it all in. She is such a sweet 6 year old!
Thank you so much BB! I know this will go down as one of Emma's most memorable birthdays! Like she said, "This is the best birthday ever!"
