Having Fun, Separately..

Timothy and Emma are each having a fun week-end, only this time they are not having fun together. Timothy is in Beaufort having a fabulous fun time with BB. He called last night with all kinds of exciting news. Andrew was in Beaufort also and they had a fun time playing last night. Andrew came over to BB's house this morning for breakfast and they have been playing non-stop! I am so glad they were able to see each other, it has been too long. BB promised me she is taking pictures for my blog. I will add them later.

Here in Charleston, Emma gets Mommy and Daddy all to herself, whether she likes it or not, which she is very excited about! We plan to go to the aquarium, which has been dressed up for Halloween and also to an early dinner downtown. Timothy and I go to the aquarium often when Emma is in school so now it is her turn to go. We will plan something fun for tomorrow as well.

Emma helped Daddy wash dishes this morning. If only the interest would last longer than a day!




On Sunday the Vietnam Traveling Wall was in Charleston so we decided to take Emma to see it. It was a chilling sight with all the names of those who gave their life to protect the freedom of our country. I am sure Emma didn't really understand what it represented but we wanted her to see it anyway.







Princess Monopoly

I lost count but I think we played about 10 times! It was fun and Emma did really well with remembering the rules and counting her money. I realized how much we don't do with Emma because of Timothy. Neither is starving for attention but to sit down and play a board game with Emma and not worry about the pieces "walking off" was really nice. I have tossed a couple of unplayable games due to missing pieces. My goal is for that not to happen to Princess Monopoly! Don't tell anyone but I think Gerald actually enjoyed this game!
