Our Quick Visit to Beaufort

Last Friday night was Homecoming for Beaufort High School. It has been many , many (seriously!) years since I have been to a BHS football game. My graduating class had a get together planned and we decided to go. It was fun to see about 15 former classmates and catch up of their lives. It was fun to find out tidbits about friends that could not be there and I now have the resources to get in touch with some people who live here in Charleston. Emma had a great time playing with the other kids but I now know I failed to tell her how long a football game can last! Thank you BB for keeping Timothy, he had fun! Btw, Beaufort won 41 to 0!

On Saturday we had a fun day at BB's house and later went to visit Gigi. Then back to Charleston Sat. evening. It was a quick visit but it was packed full of fun stuff.

Next stop, Gigi's house. We had a quick but nice visit. As always, we love to run and explore in Gigi's backyard!

I hope my kids love the lowcountry and the water all around them like I do. Homecoming week-end brought back some fond memories of growing up in Beaufort and I hope my kids embrace and appreciate their connection to Beaufort as well.
