Fun and Educational...

We had the opportunity last week to take some people visiting Charleston out to eat dinner. They were here on business for a week from China. We decided that Emma should be included since she just finished studying the Chinese New Year at school. The 2 men are engineers and the woman is their translator. Another co-worker also went with us. 1 man spoke broken English, the other one spoke no English. We went to a very nice Chinese restaurant and I think they were very pleased to be able to converse with the wait staff about their food preferences. This was their 1st trip to the US for all 3 of them. They really enjoyed Emma and I know Emma had a great time as well. We all did. It was very interesting learning about their culture and also what they thought of the US. They did lots of shopping and sightseeing while they were here. Charleston is a great place to do that!

Look who else went to dinner. Emma thought it was fitting that a panda go to dinner with us.

ps.
Thank you Aunt Lisa for hanging out with Timothy so we could enjoy this evening.
