Emma tried so hard to get one to land on her. Several did but the best one was not captured due to a dead camera battery! It was a big beautiful Monarch that landed on her shoulder. The picture would have been great, she was mesmerized by it.

Blooming Butterfies
We visited this "Blooming Butterflies" exhibit at EdVenture. Emma absolutely loves butterflies and this way she was able to see them up close. All of us enjoyed it. It is a lovely exhibit with blooming bushes and flowers of all kinds and and it felt like hundreds of butterflies. They gave us a fact sheet to look at as we walked around to help identify the 20 or so species of butterflies. Wish I had a copy of it so I could label these photos.
