Our Family Vacation - Monday

On the last day of our vacation we relaxed at the lake house in the morning and got everything packed up and cleaned. The kids wanted to "fish" so we got a fishing pole out and let them practice casting. Both were pretty quick learners and enjoyed trying to catch a fish. Gerald took the kids to lunch and a movie while I stayed and cleaned up. They went to see Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D. They really enjoyed the movie.









This is what we were driving in to on the way home. Luckily, the interstate took us around most of the storm and no straight into it. It was a rainy holiday week-end but it was still so much fun.

Thank you to Aunt Lisa who kept Haley and Maggie for us so we could go on our adventures and not worry about them. As with parents, all dogs want to do when there are no kids around to bother them, is sleep. This is Maggie. I am sure Haley was the same way!
