Our Family Vacation - Sunday

On Sunday we went to Riverbanks Zoo. We had a fun day looking at all the animals. The weather all week-end was on the rainy side. We did get rained on at the zoo but nothing too horrible. We had umbrellas but they were not needed very much.

At the Botanical Gardens. This is when the rain really started. Luckily there are several gazebos and other types of shelters to wait it out.

These flamingos were so pretty but I tell ya, they did not smell pretty!

We rode the carousel twice. it was fun and the kids picked different animals to ride on.

These Meerkats were too cute. One "lookout" so the others could sleep.
