Oh, Yes I Am"

This seems to be a common response from Timothy lately. I am not fond of it and it gets of my nerves when I hear it.

The latest usage of said phrase was yesterday. Timothy wanted to sit on the counter and was going to go get his step stool to help in his efforts.

T - "I am going to sit on the counter". (Usually because it helps him reach something I purposely put out of reach.)
Me - "Oh no you're not!"
T - "Oh yes I am!" (insert sassy tone.)

I give him "the look" and say "Excuse me?" to which he says

"Oh sorry Mama, I thought I was a grown-up".

He was wearing my shoes when this occurred and I told him that wearing a grown-ups shoes does not make you a grown-up. Hard to be mad when he is so darn cute!

South Carolina Stingrays

We took the kids to their 1st ever hockey game. G and I used to go quite often before we had the sprouts, so it was fun to go back for a game. The kids absolutely loved it and the energy and excitement was high. Timothy busted out some dance moves I had not seen before! He and Emma were determined to get on the big screen when the camera scanned the crowd for people dancing to the music. We were so happy the Stingrays won, because if they did, everyone in the crowd got a free ticket for a game in February. We can't wait to go to the next game!

Our seats were up high because we waited too long to buy tickets for better seats. It was "Pack the House" night and we were part of a record high attendance of 10,750 people.
