Happy Holidays!

One favorite part of the holidays is that we get to see our NC cousins. They always have a fantastic time playing together. Wish we could see them more than a couple times a year!

We always pass this park on the way to Grandma and Grandpa's house but we never visit, this time we did. Who couldn't use a lesson in history. We enjoyed learning about the battle at Kings Mountain and got some exercise and fresh air too.

The indoor museum is very informative and had lots of interesting artifacts found on the battle field.

The scenery is beautiful as well. Mountains in the distance and steep hills to walk up are not something we get to experience living in the lowcountry.

We really enjoy this model train display each year. It is inter-active and every button you push brings specific scenes to life. Timothy was in train heaven and we stayed for a good long time watching the trains go by.

Each visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house means the fun tractors and trucks that Daddy played with as a kid get some more play time.

Gears, gears, gears!

We are enjoying our visit with Grandma and Grandpa. Cousins Terry, Jill, Blake and Victoria came over last night for dinner. It was fun! Today we opened gifts and plan to visit with more family and friends later today. We enjoyed visiting with Fadi, Jackie, Layla, Isabella and Drew!
